Our efforts towards lithium-sulfur batteries are being promoted in collaboration with major domestic and international partners as one of our challenging development themes, focusing on the practical application of medium to large lithium-sulfur batteries. With an energy density of over 400Wh/kg, they are very high-density and lightweight, making them suitable as the main power source or auxiliary power for airplanes, airships, and balloons that conduct observations at high altitudes for several months or more.
